Fahrizal is the main company shareholder as well as the Managing Partner. He established himself in the sports industry as a professional racing driver and later on learn the business himself to run his own sports agency. He was appointed as the CEO of Pahang FC and won multiple championships and was the Executive Committee Member of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
At HARO, he works with different corporate and brands as well as government agencies namely HONDA, UMW Toyota, McLaren Malaysia, British American Tobacco, SHELL Malaysia, Sepang International Circuit, National Sports Council and few others.
He recently founded the RacingForMalaysia platform which will be the main driver of Malaysia’s motorsports industry where it will bring the industry players, government agencies and talents together.
Yamin strongly believes that a key source of knowledge is experience. As a well-traveled individual, raised in Norway and Japan, and a child to parents of different nationalities his vast cultural experiences grant him a unique perspective of the world and social dynamics. Yamin took an interest in IT during middle and high school, at the advent of the World Wide Web, and decided to major in IT at the turn of the millennium, but dived into advertising as a career path, choosing to be a copywriter due to his passion in the creative process and writing.
Incessantly eager to learn and grow, Yamin took the path less traveled. His entrepreneurial mindset and hunger for ownership led him to master a multitude of different disciplines, learning through working – mastery through experience. Yamin helmed notable positions at companies he worked at – always aiming to enrich the organization’s position and lead the team to success.
Competitive by nature and an athlete at heart, Yamin “plays” to win, turning his work into mini passion projects. Yamin’s milestones include amongst others, Copywriter, Associate Creative Director, Account Director, Head of Corporate Business Acquisition, Business Development Director, Event Director and now General Manager of Haro Group of Companies. Mizal has been in the Sports industry over the last 15 years and a specialist in strategic planning and marketing. He’s working experiences has made him very capable in managing and execution of projects at all levels.
Some of the highlight of his career including at PETRONAS Motorsports working with the branding and commercial team. After that he moved to head the commercial department at Frenz United Sdn. Bhd. where they organized the biggest South East Asia youth Club Football tournament, the Asia Champions Trophy and Frenz International Cup every year from 2011-2015.
He then founded a boutique agency, Play4Sports Asia Sdn. Bhd. which provides digital storytelling services to clients whom interested to tap the sports audience. Amongst his clients includes A&W, McDonalds, 100PLUS, Nivea Men, Al-Ikhsan Sports, Adidas, PUMA, PETRONAS Raceline MotoGP Team and iFlix. Before he join HARO, he was the Acting General Manager, Marketing at Al-Ikhsan Sports.
